No - that was disproved back in the 80's. You can only get aids from sex or sharing a needle or getting a bad blood transfusion. If one could get AIDS from mosquitos there would be many, many more people that have it.

One of the most prevalent myths about HIV transmission is that mosquitoes or other bloodsucking insects can infect you. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim. To see why mosquitos don't aid in the transmission of HIV, we can look at the insect's biting behavior.
When a mosquito bites someone, it does not inject its own blood or the blood of an animal or person it has bitten into the next person it bites. The mosquito does inject saliva, which acts as a lubricant so that it can feed more effectively. Yellow fever and malaria can be transmitted through the saliva, but HIV does not reproduce in insects, so the virus doesn't survive in the mosquito long enough to be transmitted in the saliva.
Additionally, mosquitoes don't normally travel from one person to another after ingesting blood. The insects need time to digest the blood meal before moving on.

It may seem that u can get aids from a mosquito bite since they can carry certain viruses, but no u really can't. They can contract the virus but will die off unlike monkeys. See monkeys are the first ones to be known to hold the virus and scientists still don't understand how. But yet if i can recall i think they got it from a bite. But u might want to look it up since ur on the Internet. But u can't get it so chill out. Just be safe and if none of these answers that u get satisfies u than i suggest to go and ask ur doctor or go down to a clinic and ask them. Don't be ashamed of the question it's just a question plus u don't know them they don't know u and u will probably never see them again. Good luck...

No, impossible. If a bug does bit a human with the AIDS virus it will then inturn get sick and die. Their bodies are not designed for that sort of thing such as diease and sickness. It is also impossible to get AIDS from a misquito seeing is how females are the only ones that need the blood to survive. When the bug bites it does not take the blood that it already has and "spit" it into you. It usesb it before it goes ahead and bites again.

No -it's not. And if it were we would be in serious trouble! So don't worry about it. Remember that HIV is a fragile virus that can only be spread by mixing body liquids. Not through mosquito bites, or kisses or things like that.

no, they are not in the chain of infection. it is hard for the virus to live outside of the human body that is why you do not get it off objects like doorknobs keyboards. yes mosquitos suck blood but their tiny bodies are very different thyan our own.if you are still not convinced wear repellant.
