Yes you can join the military with a GED. And also, once you are in the Navy ask for other educational benefits. I went to college after the Navy on the GI bill. Hope you get in the Navy and have a great career.

yes, with caveats:
There are fewer overall slots for GED holders, and they go very quickly. a small percentage of incoming Sailors may be GED holders, and this is across the entire country. Additionally, they must score higher overall on the ASVAB than High School Grads.
BUT. 15 credits(100 level or higher)..basically one semester..from an accredited college turns that GED into a High School diploma for enlistment purposes.

I'm not sure. It mostly depends on how many bodies they need at the time. You can join the army without a GED.
