God would certainly hate that person. God can't STAND amputees.

GOD allows what ever you want in your life. GOD does not run your life. GOD gave you free will to do as you wish. Now comes the tricky point that keeps religionist's awake at night. GOD creates everything, including your accident, however you did not need to accept it. Confused? Imagine a video game. No matter what the player does, the computer makes your opponent react appropriately. How did the computer know what you were going to do? It didn't, the programmers wrote in every possible action you could take and wrote the appropriate response. GOD is similar only better. The accident elements were converging but you did not have to be there. You could have turned aside, maybe a block earlier, maybe an hour earlier or later etc. GOD don't count limbs, GOD just loves.

God doesn't usually create accidents, no. He is big on diversity, though--just not quite as you would interpret it. On the other hand, He will take that disadvantage, if you let Him, and create something wonderful from it.
The Bible tells us that God will never try us beyond our ability to deal with it, and I believe that to be true. But the reality is, God knows your capabilities much better than you do. All trials and tribulations are aimed at building your faith, and showing you that He has. But it's not just your faith in Him he builds; it is also your faith in yourself.
Another factor in tribulation is what I like to call the 2x4 factor.
You know, when He is trying to teach you something, to perfect something in you, He begins by telling you where you need to change, which most people don't bother to listen for. Then He shows you, and if that doesn't make His point, the notices escalate from there. My dad always used to say that before you can teach a mule anything, you have to get his attention. Sometimes, that accident was just God's exasperated means of gaining yours.
These 'diversities' are God's way of helping you grow--though He will give you all the aid you will accept in doing it. What you do with the opportunity--seeing as how we do have free will--is up to you.

First we need to determine which God we are talking about here. Are you referring to the real God, the unconditionally loving God who we are all a part of? This is the one Jesus was talking about when he said the kingdom of God is within you. The one who is our dearest friend and closest companion.

Or are we talking about the angry little judgmental God that lives on some far off cloud called heaven. The one who seems to be more concerned with our errors than he is with our successes? You know the egocentric needy little God that always wants people to worship him. The one who is always unavailable because he is only a fantasy? You need to specify if you want a real answer.

I don't think it is God's will when bad things happen. And I don't know why his permissive will allows bad stuff to happen. I know that he can redeem bad things that happen to us if we allow it, and use our experience to help others going through trials. And just from my own experiences, I know that as the Apostle Paul said when he asked the Lord to take the thorn in his flesh (we never find out what it was), the Lord's answer was, "my grace is sufficient". That has been true in my life. And i know when the tough times come, they chase me to God. So use bad things as a vehicle to move close to God. And remember: God is big enough to handle our anger and our questions. Don't let anyone tell you any different!

no God did not create the accident but it allow it to happen as part of the circumstances in life because the earth is not perfect as He created since the first sin committed by Adam and Eve.

No. Everything just is. You shouldn't over think things. There are other things in life to worry about. Religion is something that won't be resolved in your 'life time'. So why worry?

For one thing there's no proof of god. For another if there was a god, what makes you think he interacts with us.

Maybe we're all just ants in the great antfarm of life.

I'm agnostic.

There is no doubt that God is in control, but he allows us to make mistakes in order to grow spiritually. To say that God is responsible for every calamity that visits us is to take a fatalistic view of life, and that he plays favorites. God is no respecter of persons, meaning that he will not set aside his rules to accommodate anyone, or to single any particular person out for punishment. If you lead a life of wisdom and obedience, then tragedy is less likely to visit you than if you live recklessly. Every person has a proper position that he/she is supposed to be in. If he/she get out of position, then adversity comes to visit. People are too quick to blame God for ever mishap they suffer, when they should be looking at the position that they occupied when the mishap occurred. Jesus loves you.

God does not create the accident however, he allows it. God is always bragging on hid people at how strong they are and satan always attacks the strongest believers because he has his hand on the lost sheep for now. Keep believing in his word and be strong as God expects you to be and represent yourself accordingly.

God created free will, a concept that many fundamentalist christian literallist bible thumpers seem to conveniently forget.

I say it would be your free will that you got in your car to drive and got in an accident, maybe it was your free will that you chose not to wear a seatbelt, or to drive drunk... God doesn't control EVERY FACET of our lives, for then we wouldn't have free will, and God's word ( the Bible) would contradict itself.
Get it?

God create everythings and than up-to-you whether you will follow His guidance for good or not in your life. Diversity in our life ? Certainly yes and we have no choice.
