I need to go to school in a little bit but can't find my drivers license and can't make it to the DMV first. I'm scared to drive to school! Thanks. Please only tell me if you know what you are talking about.

I think that in most states, you have 24 hours to "prove" that you have a drivers license. But usually, they can run your name and check to see if it's valid and you have any warrants or not. But you will need to be able to prove you are who you say you are. . .

In most states you license has to be on your person or else you have to appear in court later with your license. Here in Rhode Island its no fine for the first time but going to court is a pain.. Be careful and you can always check Ohio's Motor Vehicle website.

In most states, driving with your license is a fairly serious offense. If you do it, obey all the traffic laws and don't give them a reason to pull you over!

Then go find your license or get a replacement!
