I don't really understand, because to me, being 6'3" and 100# is skinny, but whatever. You need to lose 5#, does it need to stay off? Is it just for weigh-ins? How often are the weigh-ins? You can "cut weight", or rather, lose water weight just for the weigh in, then go back to your normal weight. To do that, exercise with sweats and stuff on, so you sweat like crazy, that'll get rid of the extra water weight for the weigh in. But, I seriousely think you and your parents should talk to a doctor. You need some good medical advice on wether or not this is healthy for you. Please, do that before doing anything else.

My son is in this same spot, trying to drop below the X weight limit for football. My advice to you is the same as to him. Your body is growing and developing right now. At your height and weight, you're all muscle. Don't screw it up by trying to lose weight. Seriously, listen closely: FOOTBALL IS NOT WORTH THE DAMAGE YOU CAN DO, especially not at this age, and you'd have to practically starve yourself to do this.

Just deal with the fact that you're not going to make the weight limit for your league. Honestly, I think the weight limits at your age are too low, but I don't make the rules. Since you're above weight, have you thought about shifting up into the next age group? My boy considered that, then decided he'd like dishing out the hurt on the defensive line in his own league. Good luck, kiddo.

Try drinking water instead of soda's. It will make you have to pee alot but it is well worth it. You can drop weight fast that way and it helps your skin too.
