every generation since Christ, including Paul's, thought they could see the signs of Jesus returning. Look at Xtian history. Why do you think you are the lucky one. Get on with your life, pal. Unless something awful happens to you, you'll be here a while.

For one thing, I hate to tell you this, but Christianity isn't even the main world religion these days. There are many people that believe other things. I know in my case, I couldn't stand the hipocracy and bigotry that I saw way too many Christians practicing. I think that a good, peace-loving religion has been perverted by too many years of human worship twisting it around and around until Jesus, if there was ever such a person, would no longer recognize the teachings his is attributed with.

I don't know where to begin, so I'm just going to tell you five things:
*Some of us prefer to rely on the absolute physical evidence, not on "faith". And as far as that goes, the evidence does not tell me that God exists, but it does not tell me that he doesn't exist either. So I won't go around preaching about an entity whose existance I'm not sure of.
*I believe organized religion is a baggage that drowns every possibility of human progress, specially when extremely zealous people like to promote hate or slander others in the name of a book that was written, by other men (namely, a roman emperor who used it to control his populace) two thousand years ago.
*Prophecy be fulfilled? Do you hear youself? What on Earth are you talking about?
You sound like an insane person. It would be nice if all people made up their own conclusions, instead of taking everything verbatim from the Bible.
And it would be even nicer if people like you realized that we are still in time to stop global warming, wars or famine if we wanted to.
I deeply despise your "let things happen" stance.
*I'm a humanist. I'd rather try to fix things on this Earth and promote happiness here with hard work, rather than sit around and pray for an abstract entity to magically solve things.
I realize that all human beings are equal, regardless of their culture, race, nationality, religion, beliefs, ideology, language or sexual preference. I'd rather try to help them and myself with logical thinking and hard work than wait for things to magically solve themselves.
*Open-minded is better. At least I'm not arrogant enough to claim that my truth is the only truth. Pride is a capital sin...right?
You have no knowledge about what will happen or about the existance of God. And neither do I. The faster that we admit this, the faster we will reach maturity as species.

If you read Timothy 2 you will understand how people will be in these last days - It's even more eye opening than the prophecies of what will occur on the earth like the floods, quakes, pestulance etc.

Its all part of Prophecy!
What moral conditions will be characteristic of society in the last days? It's in the Bible, II Timothy 3:1-5, NIV. "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them."

Because some people don't want to believe. It is obvious that there is a God since the begining of time (ie plants animals) But they want to believe anything but God created the world. I know there is a God and I'd rather beleive in God than science or what humans say.

Year after year, decade after decade, century after century; the very same "certainty" that NEVER materializes. Can you not at least do us the favor of reading what your equally-assured predecessors wrote, endlessly, to no avail? It isn't the "hardening," it's the "softening" of the mind that's disturbing.
Are your pastors keeping history from you? Is it "forbidden" to read the past of your own traditions?

Some don't want to know the truth. Pharaoh's heart was hardened. God's truth seems like foolishness to "wise men".

nostradmeus predicted things too but we dont worship him.....i would say the biggest turn off for christianity is that the people who go around spouting all that about it are the same people who are judgemental and hypocrites and do not even follow what they preach....not very good advertising...and the Crusades alone would be enough to turn anyone off christianity
