Your dog is probably barking for a very good reason; you just cannot hear what they are barking about! Dogs have keen sense of hearing and they can hear things that humans can’t. It is possible your dog is picking up on some noise in the neighborhood that is bothering or threatening him/her in some way and your dog’s natural response is to bark.

Sometimes my four girls (and if i have any extras) all run to the front door and bark at first i thought there was someone there but they do it more often now. I figured it was just something near the front door that maybe moves when the wind blows and only they can hear it. It's nothing to worry about just reinforce that there isn't barking allowed.

There must be a reason for a dog to bark, we human just don't understand it. They might have heard some small noises that we can't hear, or they just want attention from you.

All dogs have great hearing. They bark becuase they heard something you can not.

Hmmm.....its a dog and dogs bark, mostly to get your attention about something, so i dont think its something to worry about

Yeah, dogs tend to do that from time to time. It would be more impressive if he meowed for no reason.

Mine is doing that right now! It's driving me nuts! I think he's just trying to get my attention. I'm in different room than he is. Also, he cross eyed, so he could be seeing things...twice over! =)

start training ur dog 2 not brk as well as comfort him cuz he might b scared

and sometimes you talk for no reason. but it probabaly hears or sees something that you don't.
