According to the Tattoing of Minors Act 1969 it is an offence to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 - even with parental consent.

So if you find somewhere that does it then they are most certainly breaking the law and you also have to worry about other things such as health and safety issues like are their needles properly sterilised, and where are they getting their inks from etc.

Best to wait until you are 18 (if it is for you) and find a reputable tattooist. Check out Skin Deep and Total Tattoo for places once you get to 18

not sure parental consent makes a differnce as its illegal to have a tattoo under 18. You cant drink in a pub under age even if your parents say so. I might be wrong but havent heard of it before

I know you can be in US, with parental consent I think its 16... England tho, Im not so sure

I wish the US would take a more English/European/Rest of the natural world stance on the drinking age... its rediculous isnt it?
