When cats have kittens sometimes they have them in a box and move them to a more comfortable spot. I had a cat when I was younger that had all her litters in the basement. We kept one of her kittens and when she got older. She had one of her litters underneath my bed and her second litter on my brothers bed. No I wouldn't move the kittens because sometimes the mother will deny them and you would have to feed them by hand with kitten bottles every four to six hours. She wants her kittens to be in a comfortable spot where they can move around. A lot of time they do that to protect their kittens, so no one would touch them.

It's most probably because she didn't feel that they were safe in the box. Don't worry. Your mother cat will guard her kittens. It's alright to leave them under the bed if it's not bothering you. If you touch them, the mother might abandon them as their smell will be different. It's best to leave them where they are. Your mother cat knows instinctively what is best for her kittens. Just be careful when getting around so you don't accidentally kick or step on any of them will be fine.
Once they're off their mother's milk, you can safely remove them without any adverse consequences.
Good luck.

Leave the kittens alone. It's nothing against you. It's normal for mother cats to move their newborn kittens to a different location. When cats have kittens in the outdoors they move their kittens to a safe locations to keep them safe from predators.

She has probably moved them to a place where she feels they will be at less risk, and it could just be because its dark and warm there. Personally, I would let her get on with it and just be extra careful when you are walking near the bed.

She didn't think it was safe enough. If you can, just leave them under the bed. She will be able to take care of them that way.

Let the mother take over the situation, she has inner cat instincts, I would not try to interfere, she is very protective over them right now .As far as your concerns about them getting hurt, do not worry , she is on guard for them . Let her handle the situation, as long as you do not have hazards lying around the house you are ok
