- at Armageddon, the actual place in Israel – which will supposedly precipitate the second coming of Christ, shouldn’t the Christians be there?

Songoftheforest seems to forget that you can interpret anything to show that prophecies have come true. Look at Nostradamus. If you read it right, it will say what you want it to say. Amazing, just like the bible. Whatever you want it to say is in there, just interpret it the way you want.

Anyways... We had the North vs. the South in the Civil War.... we had North Korea vs. South Korea.... hmmm.... West Germany and East Germany got split by a wall so they couldn't fight... hmm........ well you know it could be. I'm not good with direction though so I don't know what direction they are exactly fighting. :P

The Battle of Armageddon is already taking place. According to the Bible, it is the battle between good and evil and was taking place in the time of the apostles (according to Paul).

You are basing your theories on the Christian FICTION series Left Behind. Not the Bible.

There are many Bible prophecies that have come true. This is verified by many valid historical and archaelogical sources.

There are many Bible prophecies that are coming true right before our very eyes!

There are only a few Bible prophecies left that have not yet come true, and they deal with end time events. It's very exciting!

I'd like to take issue with the main premise here: that the good people of Islam and the good people of Christianity are necessarily opposed to one another. Good is good, no matter where it's found, and God knows that. Religion is corrupted by man, not by God - and the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Mohammed. Gabriel isn't an agent of Satan, and hence, neither is Islam in its pure form.
There are radicals in Islam, but there are also radical Westerners: people who bomb abortion clinics, people who think "God hates fags" and is killing soldiers because of it.
I don't mean to be disrespectful. Perhaps try to think of it in a different way: Jesus is the Prince of Peace. If everyone starts thinking about what we have in common instead of what we (actually Israel and Lebanon) are fighting about, can we come to some kind of understanding? And what kind of fruits will proceed from that understanding (remember, you shall know a tree by its fruits)?
It's always better to err on the side of peace than to make war. I pray that this war, started by radicals and continued through violence, will not lead to a catastrophic outcome. We are all brothers - if not in the brotherhood of man, than in the brotherhood of Abraham. Even if you're skeptical, just try thinking about what the consequences of that idea would be, and see where it leads you. Good luck.

Jews , Christian and Muslims agree upon that the end is near

however i see this as just the beginning of a new Turmoil in the whole region that started with Afghanistan and Iraq, now expanding to Lebanon, next to Syria , Iran, and the rest of the Arabic World

Actually, the last battle occurrs in Jerusalem, not the Armageddon valey (the armys of the world simply encamp there before launching their final attack).

I'm afraid that you mis-read the text.
