What's the best site on symbolism in art?

I'm working on a senior undergrad honors project. I'm creating a contemporary Madonna & Child in Illustrator, emphasizing Jesus' and Mary's poverty and humanity. I have a book on symbolism, but want some other sources. Any Ideas?

He wasn't an artist but one of the greatest books even that dealt with symbolism is a book called 'Man And His Symbols' by Carl Jung.

And it is full of illustrations of symbolism through the ages.

Symbolism is from your heart. I think Jackson Pollock was very great on doing symbolic things and he just did what was in his soul.
