Eileen,
Totally. It is my favorite activity, bar none. Within the Realm of the Mind, we are unlimited in our potential. There is nothing that is impossible. There, we may plant the seeds of thoughts, that can completely change our lives, and even the world. Thinking is free, and cannot even be taxed. I wonder what the world would be like, if people turned off their TVs, music, and cell phones, and learned to think again. I sometimes think that folks are afraid of thinking. For most, it is like a scary, dark woods, where unknown dangers lurk, and they spend all their time and energy, trying to avoid it with the distractions of modern life. What a pity. No matter what life throws at me, I can always retreat to the place where everything is perfect, and put myself back together. Some philosophies say that what you think, becomes your world. I believe that, because I have totally transformed my life experience to conform to my thoughts, and expectations. Think only of those things which are good, and banish fear and suffering from your mind. Rule your mind, and you rule your world.

No. I do not like thinking. I LOVE thinking. Why live if not to think about things.

Someone once said, "The unexamined life is not worth living," and truer words were never written.

Yes, of course and especially for good purposes. According to Buddhist psychology, feelings and thoughts arise from our mind ceaselessly unless you are doing some kind of meditation to still it, to hold on to some wholesome object.

We have higher brains, we should use them, don't you--forgive the lame pun--think? Now, give me something to think about, your legs are nice and all, but its the brains that really make the person.
