She eats and drinks lots of water but is bleeding heavy and has lost alot of weight. Is this normal or is something else going on with her. She goes to the bathroom but does not poop alot. Is this internal bleeding or is she dying. I hate to take her in and they tell me she is dying cause I do not have the heart to put her down. Thank-you I hope someone can answer my question.

Your dog is probably dying...you should get her to a vet fast, she probably has a uterine infection, we lost a poodle the same way...thought she was in season....she died. Heat cycles do not cause heavy bleeding.

bring their to the vet ASAP. Dogs do not have heavy bleeding and lose too much weight when they are on heat. Boxer should be able to clean herself when she is on heat; you shouldn't see blood all over the place. Bringing a dog to the vet doesn't mean putting down down. Vet. medicine is very advance these days, and they have various ways to treat an early stage problem.

stop being selfish and think of your dog not yourself. Would you sit around and watch your child bleed to death and not call a doctor? Your dog is not in season - she is bleeding. She is drinking a lot as she is desparately trying to replenish the fluids she is losing and is failing. If you continue to feel that you are afraid to take her to a vet because of what you might learn and are too cowardly to provide for her needs then consider this - You have duty of care towards her and failure to provide that care which includes necessary veterinary treatment when required could well be an offence and might lead to prosecution. Take her to a vet.

You should take her to your Vet immediately.
There could be a serious health issue going on.
A Canines heat cycle "as a general rule" runs 1 week coming, 1 week in, and 1 week going.
This is too long, and too much bleeding.
Do not assume your dog is dying, but do immediately get her to a vet, and HAVE HER SPAYED, after he gets her well.
9 years old is way too old to breed, and having her spayed sooner could have possibly prevented this occurrence of a health issue.
