Ok, I have tried that and the peanut butter just makes it really dry. I prefer 2 pieces of toast with butter - lots of butter. hehehehe

It all depends on how many calories you need to eat per day. For example, if you are on a 2000 calorie per day intake, not diet, you should break the calories up into 5 or 6 meals. So, you are looking at either 350 to 400 calories per meal.
Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day anyway, and as the day goes along, taper down. Wheat bread is 90 calories per slice...a 2 tblsp of peanut butter is 90 calories. It's a good start, but you should incoporate some fruit and more protein in your breakfast.
Check out nutrition facts on the side of all packages. It will get easier as you go along to figure up your calorie intake per meal.
Good luck to you!

One slice of wheat toast has about 100 calories and apple butter has about 35 calories/teaspoon. Peanut butter is very high in calories. So in answer to your question, I would suggest one slice of wheat toast with one teaspoon of apple butter.

Sure, why not? Peanut butter is a great source of vitamins especially E and protein. Have some fruit, say berries with it too. to balance it out. Ever try PB and banana sandwich with a little drizzle of honey?...it is healthy and delicious. Just keep in mind to keep your portions small and healthy...you will lose. Drink plenty of water, too.

Maybe one slice of whole grain toast and a tablespoon or so of peanut butter. It will fill you up with the carbs and p.b. has protein.

If you eat a normal, healthy breakfast it will be easier to control your eating habits the rest of the day. Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day!
