Why am I riduculed for being a virgin and waiting out for marriage?

Honey, you should never feel pressured to have sex. Your body was paid with a price and there is a Holy Spirit dwelling in there. Keep that body sacred and do not feel burdened by how other people are making you feel. I know that you are doing the right thing and I am proud of you for taking a stand against what society is telling you is "right". And don't you worry, there is a man out there who will treasure your precious gift that you give him on your wedding day. God bless you and good luck!

You don't have to have sex. Wait until the time is right for you and don't listen to what the others are saying. There is nothing wrong with waiting for marriage, in fact, it is a wonderful thing and your future spouse will feel very special for being your one and only.

you should wait!! There aren't enough people waiting it seems like!!! Wait until your married and sure... you probably wouldn't eat live slugs if someone said not eating them made you weird... so why listen to them now? Stick with your gut... wait until your married and just enjoy not being married!!!

People usually make fun of things they know nothing about - your sex life is your business, no one elses. I say congrats! Its rare these days that people have that much self respect - good for you
