my computer shuts off when it gets hot does anyone elses ....whats wrong with it

I was able to run my laptop by resting it on icepacks while backing it up. After I backed it up, I replaced the whole laptop with a new one and transferred the old files onto it. A good new PC can be had for less than $500 if you shop hard.

Your computer is overheating, and shutting itself off so it's not destroyed. You probably need a new fan, but I'd take it to an expert before doing anything.

that happened to me with my laptop. if u have a laptop it is because the computer is getting to hot and your fan is broken, u need to get a new fan or just buy a new computer

it could be that it is just that, overheating , try installing another fan into the computer.
