becasue, it seems like it's always blondes who are slow, but they really aren't, it really is just basicly, any teenage girl, we all go through or stupid phase. If you look at hair in a telescope, blonde's are really black haired, brunets, are really blondes, and black haired are really brunets.

Because most blondes take the dumb blonde thing too far. Most are not actually stupid, but only make themselves appear to be. If you seem stupid, people don't expect much from you. You won't have to work as hard as others, because people don't think you can.
On the other hand, there are just as many people out there with brown, red, grey and black hair that are just as skilled in being "dumb blondes".
My actual answer... It started as a joke, and took on a life of it's own with no real basis. Eventually every one picked up the phrase, and society hasn't let it drop because it's a phrase that is now used to describe any person who acts "stupid" with any hair color....

At first I did not believe it, I taught it was a coincidence. After my third time of communicating with a Blond, I realized it was true.
I think the reason "We" make fun of Blonds is because no matter if they are asking questions or even giving their own opinion; they believe is natural/ok/professional what comes out their mouth when they speak; believe me it was pretty dumb the way she was expressing her self. And they speak in a very "Self-Secure" way, that it just makes me laugh. At the end, nothing they speak makes any sense.

They get made fun of because there is iron in darker hair which makes you smarter and since blondes have blonde hair which is lighter it makes people assume they are dumb. and some blondes are smart but then there are others who act dumb because everyone else is dumb.

im a blonde and i don't get made fun of.... If your refering to dumb blonde jokes, thats just for humor, even blondes find those funny.

i get it all the time! many blondes act weird, but honestly, what does hair color have to do with inteligence.
