it seems like my dog loves my bro n dad more how can i make him love me more. i no it sounds dumb but like i really love him. like im the 1 that always feeds him n gives him water n plays with him n gives him treats. my dad n bro r the 1's that let him run n wrestle with him n he listens to them more n i quess loves him more. what can i do?? thanx

Its not necessarily a question of love.
Male dogs will have a different relationship with male humans than females.
It a question of dominance and heirarchy.
He will listen to them more than you because they are higher up in the dominance chain than he is.
The wrestling is reinforcing this dominance heirarchy. You may not like it, but try getting involved and assering yourself over him.
Who walks him?
My dogss have always been closest to the person who walks them, but not sure why.

Some dogs have prefrence over male or female. I can think of ways to make your dog respect you more, but I can't think of anything to make him lose his prefrence. Whenever you give him/her treat, make him earn it by saying "sit" or "down" or whatever. Same thing for food. When you put down food and water, tell him to wait until you say ok. Dogs usually respect with control over food. Also, if you play with your dog, don't ever let him win. for example, don't ever let him get the toy when you are playing tug war with him.

thats because they r considered the alphas of the family. to increase the bond between ur dog nd u-teach him some tricks! i kno it sucks not being the alpha but i dont think ur dog loves them anymore then u

my dogs also seem like they love my husband more. it is for the same reason - he wrestles with them and i don't. i don't think they really love him more, just in a different way. when he gets mad at them for digging, i don't and they come to be with me.
