not at all, my daughter was in the exact same position as your child. She only had 2 teeth before her 12 month birthday and then all of a sudden they were coming in at 1 per month for awhile (it was terrible having her up at night with the toothaches). Now in comparison with my 12 month old son, today he has 7 if not more. So kids all develop at different times and that includes teething schedules. Just be sure to keep your pediatrician up to date.

no teeth come in at different rates. However he should be seen by a a dentist to check on the others and the health of his current teeth..Just to make sure the teeth are progressing normally.

I didnt get more than three teeth until i was well over two years old.
Children do not all develop the same, or at the same rate.
Just feed your baby accordingly. Mashed and strained baby foods will still provide him will good nutriants, if youre in doubt, talk to youre doctor about pediasure.

No. Like any development stage, babies develop at different rates.
My son is 23 months old, and is still only 10.5 kilos.
We took him to his doctor, and he said the same thing.
If it worries you though, check with his pediatrician.

You should have taken your baby to the dentist at a year. He would have told you if there were any abnormalities then. If you are overly concerned, take him back to the dentist.
