I bought it at a stand on the side of the road some months ago, because it was SUCH A DEAL. Now it's a bit ripe. There's simply too much to stuff down the garbage disposal -- what do you suggest I do? Put it in the back of a pickup and take it to the dump? Throw it in the lake for the gators? Shove it in my neighbors' mailboxes? Hellllpp. ☺

ummm.... since you've probably already thought of the obvious answer "put it in the garbage" I can only guess that you are looking for a more creative answer....
Personally, if I were in your situation I would have to choose between 3 awesome suggestions:
1. Hang them from a tree. Then sit back and watch the reaction of people when they see it.
2. Tie them to the back of a bicycle and ride it through the neighborhood to see how many dogs follow me.
3. Use them for fishing bait.

A suggestion for next time something is SUCH A DEAL........
DON'T BUY IT! Buying something just because it is a good deal is a Bad Habit to get into. It always ends up being NOT A GOOD DEAL when you end up throwing it out that good deal ends up not being a good deal at all you lose money! The worst thing to buy just because it is a good deal are perishable items.

Say, don't you ever EAT? I suggest you just wait till dark, and THROW it, link by link, as far away as you can, towards the neighbors trash bins. If the coons don't polish it off, they'll just think it was themselves who were careless.

throw it in the trash and make sure you take it outside you may want to have it wrapped a bag so animals cant get to it
