She is eating and acting normal otherwise, but I'm not sure what to do for her. It looked like it was starting to get better yesterday but today when I took her out it was diareha again. I work days and my husband has not worked for a while, so he was home with her, but last week when this started, he had started a new job
so she was byherself all day. Could that change be causing her to have diareha?

i would suggest taking her to the vet ..more than likely she has picked up some sort of parasite. I raise chihuhuas and daschunds. I have 12 dogs total. I have seen this before it is probably just worms... Wormer does not cost that much and it should fix the problem.

Take your dog to the vet immdediately!

4-5 days of diahrea can kill a dog.

It causes severe dihidration and diahrea is more or less undigested, as it runs through the system before all the nutrition can be absorbed( thats why some dogseat it).

the only natural cause of this would be if you suddenly switched thier food. But diet change will not cause bleeding!

If you suspect bloody stool for any reason, take your dog to the vet, especially if there is diahrea.

Definately time for the vet, you can give it some cooked rice to stop the diareha

Diarrhea more than 2-3 days is not normal, nor is blood in the stool. Time to see the vet.

Id take her to the vet right away. Was she outside by herself at all? Has she had her shots? Is there any way she couldve gotten into some antifreeze? Your vet can help you. 4 days is along time for this to hang on.

Poor baby, take her to the vet. They can run a simple test to check the problem, sounds like a parasite.

If you were passing blood in your faeces you would go to the doctor very quickly. So the same for your dog - Immediate vet visit please.

All the best

you should of done this earlier. if you cant afford give it so somewhere that can eg RSPCA or ASPCA. dont let it suffer.

no, she has a medical problem and needs to be seen by a vet. how old is your dog? did it eat something that it shouln't have? my neighbors dog ate carpet one time. really, get your dog checked out, that's not normall.
