well i like this guy alot and he acts like he likes me but im not for sure and i want to ask him but i was always told let the guy do the asking.

of course it's okay! If guys were expected to everything, NOTHING would ever get done! Why bother waiting around for him? Besides, lots of recent polls by women/teen magazines have found that A LOT of men find it sexy when the girl asks them out.
If he gets upset that a girl asked him out, then he's not worth it - wouldn't it be awful to be with a guy that didn't appreciate women and their ability to take control?

yes u should let a guy ask u out,but there r ecptions 2. like if the guy is 2 shy or u know he likes u but he dose not know how u feel bout him, trust me it has happned 2 me......just ask him out what's the worst thing that could happen......he won't go...well...u'll have an answer then, and there r other fish in the sea...... good luck...take ur time there's no rush ;)

Yes it's okay, but usually guys like to do the chasing. But ask, he will be flattered and he can only say yes or no.

it's cool if you do the asking. It's not the 50's anymore. So your parents advice needs to be updated just a few decades. It's not wrong for you to like him, so it's not wrong for you to ask.

i don't see no harm into asking him out if u don't than what makes u think he will . but make sure he like u before u ask him out . u don't want to make a fool out of yourself right.
