I live in Pensacola. We are a family of 4 adults. Our income is higher obviously because there are more adults and with 4 adults I imagine our grocery bill is higher as well. Our weekly budget is $200.00+/-. Breakfast is cooked for three adults - one adult is already gone to work. For lunch we have two adults who work outside of home and take their lunch. The third adult is retired and the 4th adult works from home. Everyone is home for supper. Sometimes we go out to eat for supper. Our trip to Wal-Mart this past weekend was $175.00, and we also shopped at another grocery for our meats $65.00. We didn't have a big shopping trip the weekend before though and our bill was $60.00 that weekend. I'm not sure how we got away with that.

The state of Illinois feels that anyone making $600 a month would only need $64 in food stamp assistance. Other state follow the national standard of need, and anyone making below $800 would need $159. per person in the household.

I am assuming your $3000 is a monthly income but you do not say how many are in your family. If you are the average family of four then you would need to budget at least $636 dollars a month for food items only. Other things that you might buy at the grocery store, such as toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, garbage bags, Kleenex, toothpaste, shampoo and bar soap are all items most homes need but cannot be figured into food budget.

One can learn to shop economically, but there can be absolutely no impulse buys, no convenience foods and very little "junk" food. Also, with the high costs of fuel, the budget is going to have to stretch even farther to compensate for the shipping costs which have risen.

Good luck, is all I can say, to anyone who is trying to raise a family under the current administration and whose motto ironically is "Families First".

Grocery bill weekly? Monthly? Annually?

And how big a family? 2 people? 4 people? 8 people?

And is the $3000 salary range your weekly salary? Biweekly? Semimonthly? Monthly? And is it gross or net?

Wealth is interior the eyes of the beholder. in case you settle with the Liberals who state tax breaks are for decrease than the rich, then you definately've a relatives income of 60K or extra. Statistically you will possibly be able to desire to look on the propose or the median to make certain the place you're in terms of others. yet reality is wealth is a physique of ideas. To me wealth is the capacity to stay with ease. In my community the minimum house is worth a million.2M yet lots of the properties have not got any furnishings. they have an asset yet no wealth. My different residing house (I stay in Miami and have an area of residing in Minneapolis) is in a community of 500K properties yet all of my buddies have average vehicles (SUVs) and have nicely provided properties. who's wealthier?
