My grandpap has it and my dad is dead-set he's going to get it too. Do you think that will happen? My dad has more genes from his father than mother.

1st of all, there is no such thing as 'having more genes from your father than your mother'
2ndly, while Alzheimer's may have some genetic element, just because your grandfather has it is NO guarantee your dad will. Till now, no single gene has been isolated to definitely cause Alzheimer's. There have been a few, but these are still under investifgation to date. Even if there were one, only a very, very small percentage of kids get it even if their parents are affected. About 75 percent of Alzheimer disease cases are classified as sporadic, which means they occur in people with no history of the disorder in their family. The remaining 25 percent of Alzheimer disease cases are hereditary, which means they are caused by mutated genes that can be passed from parent to child. These cases can be divided into early-onset disease (symptoms begin before age 65) and late-onset disease (symptoms begin after age 65). The early-onset forms of Alzheimer disease (types 1, 3, and 4) are inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern, which means one copy of the altered gene in each cell is sufficient to cause the disorder. In most cases, an affected person has one affected parent. Most cases of late-onset (type 2) Alzheimer disease occur in people with no history of the disorder in their family. Genetic testing can determine how susceptible your dad/you are to getting Alzheimer's.
Anyway, now there are drugs to treat Alzheimer's -- to slow its progression at least - like tacrine. The key is to diagnose it early. Go for regular tests, exercise your mind - mental mathematics, crosswords etc - keep your mind active.

genetic play a role in Alzheimers with people with a gentic predisposition to have bodies that have a difficult time eliminating heavy metals such as aluminum, mercury, and lead.

I would try shilajit and eat lots of cilantro pesto if I had Alzheimers.

Yes it is. However I believe it DOESNT effect every generation. There is a 50/50 chance he will develop it. It also helps with diet etc.
