In my experience, I should have just let him go. But it depends on how serious the act was. I don't see anything wrong with giving one chance. but you will realize you have lost your trust in that person. I wouldn't forgive and forget too easily. You will get taken advantage of. But I would definately reccomend not to give a second chance at all. It will be a waste of your time. They should learn from their first mistake. but a second mistake isn't a mistake.

Some acts are unforgivable. But I guess it depends on who he cheated on you with. Someone that is close to one of you, or some random stranger he just met. Think about how you would feel if it happened again with the same person.

If I love him enough, and if it seems like it has been a one night stand, I would take him back.
If it seems that it was more serious that just a stand, I guess I wouldn't.
