No, not in our community. Being potty trained is a priority for enrollment into preschool. Even potty trained three year olds are a handful for the teachers. Frankly, I feel it would be to much to expect of the teacher to have to deal with diapers, etc. It could also be very difficult for a child who is not fully potty trained too. Three year olds can get embarrassed and you would not like a child's first memories of school to be of embarrassment because they were not prepared.

Depends on the preschool—each one has a different policy.
Don't worry about develop issues if your child still isn't potty trained yet. Several people believe that no matter how soon you train your child, that you will not experience consistent success until they are about 3 years old. I have a friend whose 4-year-old daughter just recently finished the later stages of potty training.
Now may be a great time to introduce the concept to your child. If they preschool will accept them, that will probably help expedite the learning curve. One of my sons has been in daycare since birth, and at 2 years old, he told us when he wanted to try to go in the toilet. We never pushed him too hard because he was so curious at such a young age, and figured that he wanted to because all the older kids in his class were trained. We weathered through all the accidents and now he's only wearing a pull-up to bed at 3 years old.
Good luck!

Depends on the preschool. I would talk to the director, sometimes they can give you helpful hints on potty training. Or, they can place your child on the top of the list, so that when they are potty trained they will have a space at the preschool.

You might just get away with sending him/her! After 3 most kids can hold it long enough for preschool! My daughter was fully trained for a year before she started 3 year old preschool and proceeded to have "accidents" 3 times in the first six sessions! She was allowed to continue anyway! Potty training sucks! (Mother of 3 boys)

Depends on the preschool. Some will accept but charge you a diaper fee. Some just wont accept any child not potty trained by a certain age.

It depends on the preschool. If it is a state preschool rather than a private one, I'd check local guidelines to see what they say as they could tell you that they won't accept a child who isn't potty-trained but it may be law that they have to.

Depends on the preschool. Normally, you will have to pay a bit more for a child who is not potty trained. If you're talking about junior kindergarten, they do have to take the child. Good luck.

Most likely the child will not unless the preschool has some sort potty training program. (most dont) Schools want kids who can take care of the bath room problem on her/his own.

Depends on the pre-school, I know it's a pre-requisite for some schools. My son is 15 months and he's started being potty trained when he turned 1 year. The school I chose it's mandatory that he is potty trained. He's suppose to begin when he turns 2 next year.
