Keep your mind on the combat zone, be aware of what going on there at all time (just so your safe) don't let your mind wonder.
At any down time, remember all the good times with your family and what good time you have yet to come. Ask God to watch over you and your family through this time. He will listen, you just might not see it.

Concentrate on your job. You can not allow 'back home' to distract you from your mission. Keep your and your fellow troops' safety at the forefront. Think only of where you are and why you are there. You must become a different person entirely when you are deployed. You are no longer a husband or father/ wife or mother. You are a soldier with a mission and that is it... point blank! You ARE the mission!

i don't have any advice cos it is a truly stressful situation which u r in, but u have to be alert and be focused. and when u feel stressed think of something nice.

Just to sit back and be resilient and focused on hope to return back. Keep on that hope and good memories .......positive thinking about everything in life
