Ahhhh, yet another attack on Christians. Let's ask the question "Why does mankind treat other members of mankind badly?" That would be a more suitable question. The answer is that nobody is perfect. We all have selfishness and sin in our lives. It's part of our nature. It's those who put their faith in Christ that can overcome it. But even then, we're not perfect, either.

Yep. I'm a Christian. And it absolutely grieves me to see the way many Christians behave. In fact, I'm thinking of leaving the church because of it. What I've learned is that we're all human. I think it's great that we Christians find fulfillment in our religion. But, we must remember that, just as our faith is our right to believe, others have the right and are free to believe how ever they want to. The biggest tragedy of it all is the fact that, according to the New Testament, Jesus came to be the greatest revelation of God, and especially the LOVE of God, that the world has ever known. And, yet "Christians" too often miss this point. Sorry that you've had negative encounters with some (I would assume). But, there are many out there who are not as whacky as others. And, this is true, no matter where you go or what you believe (or don't believe).
Love, joy and peace.

They make all kinds of excuses but the bottom line is christians hate each other and then some. that has never changed and even though people are trying to change history by *making things better with christianity* christianity has always had problems, not just because its a man made religion, but because of its doctorines. Hate yourself because you are evil, God is jealous and vengeful but hes perfect? that doesnt make sense. Hate nature, hate magic even though we are created by magic, and how do you expect to treat others good if you hate yourself? christianity and islam are the real evil in this world, they are the reasons why jails are overcrowded.

Yes, we do behave badly sometimes. THe goal is to become more Christlike, as we are not perfect like God. THe only difference between being a Christian and not is whether you believe in Christ or not. We are just like any other human being. Now, if a Christian is behaving "badly" then I forgive them and pray for them.

Yes, I think it's very sad, especially when a religion goes around saying "Love your brother as yourself", then they don't do that at all. Not that I'm saying that all Christians do that. I know allot of Christian people who are the nicest people all of the time, and would bend over backwards to help their fellow mankind. It's the other ones, the ones who I call "Sunday Christians". They wake up on Sunday, put their nice clothes on, go to church and act like their **** don't stink as soon as they go inside. They sing some songs, listen to the preacher and as soon as service is over, they are outta there, doing what they want and thinking that the lip service they paid to God makes them better than everyone else. It doesn't make them better, it just makes them pathetic.

Religion and politics - the two biggest causes of strife within the world.
In most religions the moderates are ok with the fact that there are other faiths and respect the differences. Then you have the radicals in any faith that believe theirs is the only true way. These are the folks that can cause all the bother (understatement).
The job of us all is to make sure the radicals don't get the rest of the faith given a bad rap.
So yes I hate the way any radicals deal with any others of their faith.

I try to look at this more as just human behavior. It doesn't really matter what religion they defer to, they act, unfortunately, to their lower human instincts. And the yucky, 'I am better than thou' school of behavior (I almost wrote thinking, but that would have been a joke, even though unintended).
One big exception seem to be the Buddhists. So I would say, if anyone needs to follow a religion, that would be the way to go.
Me. I have long ago outlived fairy stories...

I definitely hate the way that some Xtians treat each other, and others besides Xtians.
You are a true Xtian if you accept that God sent his son as a sin offering to redeem all human beings from their wrongdoings.
That means that some Xtians are mean, nasty people who happen to believe in God. It's hard for people (Xtian or not) to accept that, but it is true. When other Xtians behave like a bunch of numbnuts it can really piss me off, especially since, as you say, they are meant to behave better than they do.
I HATED Xtians for YEARS because a few really bad examples had ruined my relationship with God. One day I asked God (I hadn't decided who he was at that stage) to give me some faith and show me the way, because I was desperate to know him/her.
He guided me to some Xtians who really try to live as Jesus has asked us. He also revealed himself to me in my heart, and I couldn't ignore him anymore. Becoming a Christian has forced me to stop judging other Christians for acting like dum dums, and to start doing the best I can for Christ instead.

quite a few motives: maximum liberals knowledgeable in our secular coaching device, pretty college factor, have extra liberal beliefs forced on them. One is that of disparaging any non secular dispositions because they pass against the "genuine freedom of theory" and the very undeniable actuality that the life of a God won't be able to be shown. yet another is the present feedback by our position of start safe practices Secretary that they (we) might want to be on safeguard against the homegrown terrorists including the right-wing, Christian, ex-military extremists. do no longer overlook both, that to the Muslims we (comprise Christians, Jews, atheists, deists, and so on) are seen "infidels" and ideal purely to be killed.
