Age is not a factor. If you are a US citizen of any age, go to the US embassy and tell them you wish to return to the United States. They can arrange communication w/ relatives and travel for you. If you are in a country without a US embassy, go to the embassy of one of our allies (England) or a neutral party (Switzerland) and they will usually offer contact options for US citizens. You will need some proof of your citizenship. A passport, SS#, US contact, etc. when you arrive at the embassy.

The US government has no funds for indigent American Citizens. We don't buy them tickets home. Unless you can afford a passport, an airline ticket, taxi fares, rent, and a job search, you can't in any practical sense go to the US. Also no US embassy will provide you with a place to stay, or money to stay there.

So go back to your parents and apologize for acting like a jerk. They'll take you back; parents always do.

ah yeah you should certainly be able to. If you are being held against your will, then get ahold of the nearest US Embassy and see if they can help. Having a place to live, well that is on you.
