Well he is the BEST golfer. lol! It has nothing to do with hex's or chocking every sunday. But it has alot to do with strategy and how well they know their own strategy. If these golfers could get his strategy, Tiger Woods would probably have some really tough competition. It may also depend where they are playing. Tiger may have played at those golf fields many times and may know them up and down, while pro golfers, it may be their first time on the field. who knows? That is the best I can give you.

Most people don't realize but having control of the mental aspect of the game is soooo important in sports. Look at A-Rod in baseball, Patrick Ewing in basketball, Sergio Garcia in golf. These guys are great when they have absolutely no pressure on them. But when the game is on the line, they tighten up, think too much, or just plain choke, and end up succombing to the pressure. Tiger Woods not only has a great game, but he has a way of blocking everything out when he plays. He is so into his game that he doesn't ever seem to be affected by any outside influences.

When Tiger Woods came to the PGA, he had already re-invented the game. Tiger added total fitness to the game that other golfers did not see coming. That's why he is number one.
Sergio is an incredible golfer. I can see him winning some major championships in his future.
Yes, I have been a Tiger Woods fan, since he won his third amateur championship.

Why couldn't the over paid pro golfers beat Palmer or Nicklaus?
Because they were had a better mental game than most other golfers, just like Woods.

First of all, golf is one of the only sports where Golfers are not "PAID" to play, hence the term "OVERPAID" is wrong.
there is prize money, that you can WIN , but you arent PAID squat.
Yes they get endorsment deals but thats because of thier celebrity status, but for hitting the ball into the hole on a sunday
they win thier share of the purse, just like horses.
Tiger, has a great mental game, so do a lot of other people,
what most people ignore is that he has about 25yrs of rigourous daily practice and 20yrs of competitive level golfing experience.
and out of 20yrs its about 10-12yrs of making a golf a new sport ,HIS WAY !
thats why its his game and he wins it.
