Do you mean lazy eye? I have that. When I was a kid they put a patch over my good eye for months to make my lazy eye stronger. It didn't work. I sure bumped into a lot of things! The problem is not in your eye, but in your brain. It chooses not to use the eye as much as the other, usually because the vision in the other eye is much better. Best of luck!

I had amblyophia - lazy eye when I was little. I couldn't see anything but light and dark from one of my eyes. Luckily, they were able to force the eye to see (though it meant I had to wear eyepatches through much of grade school). I still have 2 different eyes- one nearsighted, one farsighted and I still have to wear glasses.

The only problem I really have now is that my eyes will unbalance periodically, so I have to have my prescriptions changed more often.

Here's hoping you have no more eye problems.

My sister was born with it, but it was caused by a disease passed on from our mother.
