People have been saying this forever! When I was a kid I remember that there was a prediction for the end. We all watched the clock for the hour they said it would happened. It came and it went. Many more have come and gone since then. One day it might happen. Not because someone predicted it, but because things happen that are not in our control like meteors, earthquakes, and giant storms. People have not explanation for large events and blame the devil or god being mad at the sinners of the planet. Enlighten yourself and read information that will shed some light on these views. Expand your mind.

read these Scriptures. Ezekiel 38&39; Zachiaha 12:3,4,9,11. Rev 1:7. And to sadly antisemitic Christains, Romans11:26. This could be the start to the end.

All that means is that we know not the day nor the hour Jesus is going to come, so we must be prepared ahead of time. You didn't even mention the scripture which talks about the last days.

Events point to prophecy in the bible. But no man knows the hour of the end.

Don't be fooled. Jesus is coming soon. Soon does not reveal to us an exact time. Rather the context of the scripture you posted includes the signs of the end that have taken place and that are continuing to take place. God gives these warning signs so that we can look forward to his return and it is a stearn warning to those who continue to reject him.
These are the final words Jesus reveals to John in his vision..
Revelations 22:20He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The Bible wouldn't be wrong; the people who predict it would happen soon would just be lucky.

I haven't seen that many people stop working, sell their house, etc., so I don't think too many people reaklly believe this. I for one don't.
