ok.. so there was this guy who i reeeeeeeeeeeeeally liked after he told me that he liked me.. we were just about to go out, when just yesterday i found out from his brother that he was bragging to all of his friends about how he tricked me, and doesnt really like me, and never did. it was all a fake. help! what do i do?

Well, there are a few things you can do:
1. Tell him that he is mean and hurt your feelings and one day this will happen to him and when it does and his heart breaks tell him to think of you and how he broke your heart...(aka Curse)
2. Ask him what's up and why he would do this? Who gives him the right to break hearts as he pleases?
3. Ask him why he wants to have a reputation of a liar, a cheater, a fraud and a jerk...guys who have this reputation rarely get girls to go out with him.
4. You can play him at his game and tell him that you found out about his plan and decided to play along to see if he was really stupid enough to think you would fall for a guy like him...and just be cool and walk away..maybe even laughing at him... so this way he gets hurt. (childish i know but it works)

Well, you *could* go around telling people that you found out from his brother that he really doesn't like girls. That he is simply tricking people in to thinking that he does. ;)
But then, that would have you sinking to his level.
(Besides, how do you know it wasn't his brother lieing?)
Maturity is measured just as strongly in what you don't do in certain circumstances, as much as what you do, do.
Just laugh it off as he being an immature child who really has yet to develop any tangible social skills.
There will always be situations in life where you get your feelings hurt. Just remember, if you let someones comments/actions continue to hurt you, than *you* are hurting because *you* are giving them the power to be in your head.
Don't give people the power to be in your head.
And if you absolutely must say something to him, just say that you heard that he was bragging to his friends that he really doesn't like you. Don't be angry or upset, just smile and say, "That's fine. I'm delighted I learned about you so quickly."
Easy. Let it go & move on.

I hate when guys act immature like that, dont worry more will come along, hopefully some mature ones..and remeber you dont always need a man to feel happy, they will come and go till you find the right one. I think you should stay away from this boy and if he keeps hanging around thinking hes so smart with trying to trick you, then maybe you should play his game back on him....or better yet get one of your friends too:)

Is this the same "bad boy" you were considering dating? If so, learn from this...stick you people of your own kind and leave the losers alone. Why would a guy waste his time just to trick you? My feeling is he really liked you but knows you are out of his class so he dished you in front of his friends. In the future he may want to be friends again..hold your ground and tell him you don't have time to waste with people like him, then walk away with a smile on your face.

Well first of all does his brother like you? Because if he does then he might be playing into not likeing his brother, so he can try for you. I know its mean and cruel but it can happen... If this other guy really id do that then he is not worth getting upset over and move on. If he treats you this way now you know he will not be a good man in the future...

I would act like it was nothing. Don't let him know it bothered you. That's probably what he wanted anyways.
On the other hand, he might be too scared to admit that he likes you and was just telling his friends that he tricked you so that he didn't feel embarassed. In any case, forget about him. You have lots of time to worry about boys. You will find a good one when the time is right.

u should tell him how u felt about it, and tell him to leave u alone ,and tell him not to do this to anybody in his life .U loose nothing ,have confidence on ur self .U are truth ful to ur self and to him so u dont have to worry and get upset .
This is life. next time u meet him tell him that u asked him to go out just because u like him, tell him that if he was a man he should have told straight at ur face and not like a coward .he will feel soory for what he did.im sure

Punch him in his fat stupid *** head. Beat him so he'll cry and beg for forgiveness. It's guys like that that make us look bad. Tell him I say he's a jackass. Just find a guy who does like you enough to be open about it. I think this guy likes you he's just an idiot and likes to brag about how he don't like anyone to his friends.
