Hi there,

there are several german organisations that sponsor development in Africa. Many of them are associated to the churches, like "Brot fuer die Welt" or "Miserior". Others are privatly driven like "Menschen fuer Menschen" which is mainly sponsoring projects in Ethopia.
Also the big international organsisations like the RedCross or UNICEF have German chapters, which provide aid to Africa.

Greetings,
Ina

The most popular one is "Menschen für Menschen" - founded by the former actor Karlheinz Böhn.
