Anyone can be a Christian. Most people believe that christianity is a religion. However, christianity is about being Christ like. Jesus was all about his father's business. He was interested in God and God is all about His creation; people. That's why Jesus was always preaching, healing the sick and doing things for people. Christians generally live by the word of God, the Holy Bible, but few understand it in its correct context. In the old testament Moses was given the law by God and God's people practiced many rituals to continue to have a relationship with God since when Adam sinned, it created a vacuum between man and God. However, when Jesus became a sacrifice for our sins, we no longer have to live by the traditions of the law, because God sent His Holy Spirit to be our Helper. Therefore Christians live and behave according to God's Holy Spirit which you recieve when you give your life to God. A Christian is a follower of Christ. A Christian has been born again, born of the water. In order to become a Christian one must:
Hear - Rom 10:17
Believe - Heb 11:6
Repent - Acts 2:38
Confession - Matt 10:32-33
Baptism - Mark 16:16
Live faithfully - Revelation 2:10; Romans 5:1-2

A Christian follows what the Bible says, what God commands. Not adding to nor taking from his Word. You attend services whever the doors are open, teach, help others less fortunate, partake of the Lord's supper(understanding it represent his body and blood), give as you've been blessed(not grudgingly or of necessity, but in love), you study, pray, etc.

A Christian is one who believes Jesus Christ came to earth to redeem mankind for its sin, died, rose again on the third day, is seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again in glory.

Christians behave all sorts of ways. There is no one way to describe how Christians behave. Ideally, a Christian should follow Christ's example. A Christian should love God and love his/her neighbor. A Christian is to give food to the hungry, clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, visit the imprisoned, pray for the sick. Even if a Christian does this for the outcasts of society, s/he has done it for Christ Himself.

Ok, there is way more than going to church, praying, and simply saying you believe in God, as many people think. If you read the Bible, you'll have guidelines on how God wants you to live your life. You have to try as hard as you can to do that, but God will help you, if you ask for it in prayer. You start to feel like God is your best friend and you can pray with no second thoughts about how to talk, and you can handle most choices, people, and situations with no problem. It gets to where you want to spread the word, you want to talk to God, and you want to go to church. It's such a complex definition, you really can't describe it. But it all starts by asking for forgiveness, and God will take you from there.

Really no different than anyone else.

You just go to church or pray and ask for forgiveness.

That way you don't feel guilty for all the bad things you might have done, like cheating on your taxes, sleeping with your spouse's best friend, getting drunk last Saturday night.

There are many christian groups and one basic doctrine. Since doctrine is only ten percent of the religion that leaves twenty percent for beliefs and faith and of course seventy percent for the activities of the group. You will leave any church where the activities are not acceptable to you.
