Yes you can get HIV from having sex the first time. You can get any disease or pregnancy from having sex the first time also. Plenty of people have found themselves with all types of diseases from just sleeping with a partner for the first time. Always protect yourself no matter what, it will make the difference between life and death. Your health is vey important don't put it on the line for just a few minutes of pleasure.

Yes and you can get it from oral sex as well. All it takes is for you to have a scratch or an abrasion in your mouth from brushing or flossing. An exchange of body fluids and there you are - you're now HIV positive.

Educate yourself.

doh!!!! It doesn't matter 1st 2nd 3rd time. If you have unprotected sex with an infected person, you risk getting HIV. Use protection or don't have sex. If your needing to ask questions like this, are you really ready for Sex?

of course you can the person who is infected can pass the virus on if it your 1st time even if you 70 years old and the sex is unprotected (ie no condom) Though there are still chances when using protection
Thats like says cat owner can not catch a cold! Of course they can.
I find it hard to believe people still don't know this!

It only takes one time to get a disease or pregnant. It's not something that builds up over time.
You can get HIV without having sex, too.
Be smart and use protection. Get tested and ask your partner to be tested if you are worried about it.

Yes. Unless, of course, you use a condom and both of you are very careful.

I'd try to go for somebody who is not likely to have it, especially for the first time. If it already happened... go get a check.
