I Have A 15 Year Old Gordon Irish Setter. He Normally Sleeps In His Bed, But When We Awaken In The Mornings We Find Him Sleeping On The Couch. I Prefer That He Sleeps In His On His Own Bed But What Can You Do But Put Coverings On Your Couch Before Bed Time.

Ours is spoiled rotten--she sleeps wherever she wants. She's a 100 pound chocolate lab/weimeraner mix, and the only reason she doesn't sleep in bed with us anymore is because she went blind about 6 months ago and doesn't trust herself to judge the height anymore. She usually sleeps on the couch, instead. But if we're working in the kitchen, she makes sure she's lying down in the arch between the dining room and living room. I think she's hoping to trip us so she can grab whatever falls.

Ours sleep in our bed during the day, and at night they sleep in a particular spot right next to the bed, same thing everyday, it's really strange. They for some reason like to hop back into my bed at 5:30 am ish, aren't I lucky! :oP

Our lab sleeps under our bed. He's been doing that since he was a puppy, he is a year old now, and one day I'm scared he wont be able to get out one day.

my dogs sleep in their doggie beds, one in each guest room of the house, that they believe is their personal room. Sometimes I find them sleeping on the soft in the middle of the night, even though they know they are not supposed to

My silky either sleeps in the small of my back, or on my pillow (with her legs draped around my head). My Aussie terrier (pictured here) sleeps either against or between my legs so that he can use one of my legs for a pillow!
