Yes you're right people get persecuted for the sin but how is a person to know it's a sin when everybody accepts you the way you are (not everyone reads the Bible - the right Bible you know)? The Bible does not say sex is a sin, what it says is sex outside marriage is a sin.
Because you're not prosectuting the sinner, you're prosecuting the sin that the person is doing in hopes that the person will change.

Yes God does that.. He hate the sin.. Yes beeing gay is a sin..why ? Just because God made us to not be gay.. It is in our nature that a man should make love to a woman ... so that we accoplish God's will .. If we all would be gay.. we would put an end to all of us.. :) can you immagine.. God doesn't what our death.. People just try to find excuses for those who do something like that.. and sex isn't a sin.. I't part of our nature and it's something lovelly if we do it with love..... Take good care of you :)...

Homosexuality goes against God's natural design for man (ie. men and women). If you think about it, homosexuality does not allow one to multiply. But you are correct in that God still loves the person despite their sexual preference, and hates the sin. However, His desire is that we all come into truth and and live according to His perfect plan for all of us. Homosexuality is a sin, but people who practice it should be still shown love and the root cause of their decision to be homosexual should be found out, so that they can be healed of all hurts and learn the truth about who they really are according to the one, true, living God. Sex is only a sin when it is done outside of the sanctity of marriage. It was designed by God for man's pleasure and procreation. Sex is not bad!!!

That is sometthing I heard "Hate the sin but love the sinner".
One could also take the tack that the act is the abomination, but not the people doing it.
And if you understand the prohibition against gay sex, it all comes into clear focus.

NO NO NO dear sister.
Hate the sin, love the sinner ISNT IN THE BIBLE.
It's LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF!
The bible does not condemn 'being gay' only gay sex, and for obvious reasons. God only wants us to have sex for procreation, and gay sex cant do that.

I feel that you are exactly right. I think the problem arises because there are people who want to insist that gay activity ISN'T a sin. That's the big controversy.

And what Bible are you reading from? Homosexuality is an abomination to God. However, everyone should treat homosexuals decently.
