In one study of a sample 55,000 illegal immigrants serving prison sentences in the US, it was discovered that they are responsible for over 400,000 arrests and over 700,000 felony crimes. In Los Angeles, 95 percent of the outstanding arrest warrants for homicide are for illegal aliens, with 65 percent of the overall arrest warrants are for illegals.

This is a widespread problem and will eventually lead to more crime and violence. How can the President of the United States allow a foreign soldiers on US soil who are carrying automatic firearms? Where are the so-called gun control advocates in congress who wish to disarm American citizens? Are they not concerned with foreign nationals entering the country armed to the teeth? US police departments are outgunned and outmanned and no one save a few congressmen are displaying any concern.

Do you care if Americans are being killed by Mexicans? Bush doesn't.

I mean, to erase borders, what's an American's life worth anyway to Bush?

And why blame Bush? He's not doing the best he can - HE WON'T SIGN AN ORDER TO PROTECT THE BORDER! He wants us to give up our country for it - start finding out what's going on people!!

OK, I can see that if you don't see it on TV (was also on Lou Dobbs) or read about it in the newspaper (no major ones carried it) you think the story isn't true.

I've seen these articles dozens of times, I can see see few know about it and more don't care.

Bush is doing the best he can. And NO, he has not declared open season on Americans.

I believe the murders in question were commited in gang situations or in disputes between the illegals themselfs. The felony charges being drug posession and distribution, battery and asult. And everyone knows mexicans beat the living hell out of their wives, and many of them end up in domestic disputes.

It is true that they come from a very very violent culture, and without them being adressed when entering the country we have no way to weed through them before they set up shop.

Bush hasnt said they can just keep coming, or that they can just hang out here. What he has required is for them to start the immigration process, or be deported.

This is something that went unchecked for so long that you cant just expect a couple million people to be rounded up and shipped across the boarder in a few months. or even a few years.

Especially when no one wants their tax money to fund the defense of the southern borders. Thats what started this whole mess.

Have you ever tried to watch a few hundred acres of land by yourself? We need better funding.

Its going to take time (DEAR GOD! NOT TIME!) to fix this problem.

Open season is an attempt to legitimize extra yank terrorism against a clean objective countriy. Step a million: declare open season on "Iranian brokers". Step 2: commence perpetrating unlawful black operations into Iran to commit terrorism and kill Iranians. If the terrorists are captured, declare that they have got been "abducted". Step 3: Use the legal arrest persons terrorist by the Iranian authorities at justification for invasion. .

And what do you say about Americans that kill Americans? There are FAR MORE murders between Americans themselves than illegal immigrants killing Americans. So, your comment is too one sided.

Now, let it be clear that I am NOT condoning the act of illegally entering the US or any other country. Something definitely must be done about that problem.

I also very strongly think that a foreigner that commits a crime in a country that is not his, should be punished very, but vey harshly.

Maybe you're right, he doesn't care about just regular people walking down the street anymore. Maybe he and his constituents are too focused on the money they think they'll be making to stop to calculate the fallout and negative impact their chosen policies will have on americans and communities around the country.

I think it's really cool that individual states and cities have taken it upon themselves to start enforcing the law. By all indications, the Senate can't/won't do it, nor is this administration going to.
So, there you have it, Washington just doesn't care, and you're supposed to suck it up and deal with it. Impeachment, anyone?

Yep. We have enough forces to successfully invade a country halfway around the world, but we're unable to stop an invasion taking place right here at home. Pretty sad. (Note: I am not a liberal by any means, and I don't bash the president for fun. He has really f***ed up here.)

I'll give you a few good reasons. the thousands of solders that had died in Iraq. it's bull ****, for what? to free them?!?!?

5 years ago who gave a damn about Iraq and how bad they're people are doing.
and don't try to defend it with the whole 9-11 thing. because you don't need to invade an entire country to find one man....especially when it's been confirmed that he's in Afghanistan.

President Bush has not declared Open Season on Americans,
but he should do something about all the brain-dead people that I see.

The whole point of gun control is that they do not bring the guns with them but buy them in the US.

Your slipping in blaming it all on Mexicans there are many other nationalities involved.
