im having a hard time finding straight-up info online...im a citizen of argentina but a permanent resident of the united states.

what countries accept dual citizenship with argentina???

argentine has a consulate here in the us. guess why the consul is here to answer questions for nationals. why would you not call the toll free telephone number and ask your question if you need a correct answer. have a good day.

"i know for a fact that argentina and the united states does not have dual citizenship." You are incorrect. The US has no laws against dual citizenship with any other country in the world. Agrentina, however, does.

Dual citizenship is not reciprocal; it has nothing to do with the pair of countries you want to be citizens of; it only has to do with the laws of each individual country.

i am working on getting dual citizenship for my son, his father is jamaican citizen and I am American. Al of the paperwork and information i received was through the Jamaican embassy, here's a link to the Argentina embassy in US...good luck

I think you can be argentian and american. I have friends who are mexican and american citizen and an israel and american citizen. I also know an argentine who is us citizen but dont know if he still has a argentine citizenship. He is actually not friends with me cause he like george bush. But if you get us citizenship please dont be one of the 83% of latinos who blindly vote for bush or some other neo-con republican.
