It is understandable that you would be a bit scared about this huge change, but don't worry. Have a plan for the first day - agree to meet some people you knew from your other school - see if anyone shares the same lunch hour as you, & otherwise plan ahead! You have every right to be there, just like the older students, and for the most part, it's just alot of "huffing & puffing." (showing off because they think it's expected of them to act superior.) The best thing you can do is to be confident, and be natural. Don't say things you think people want you to say, speak your opinion. You will find that there will be many clubs to join - if you start the year by being connected to something, it won't be so overwhelming. So, check out all the choices you have, and be active. You'll find that it isn't as bad as your fear feels right now. Relax, talk with your friends, and get ready for one of the coolest transitions in your life! Take care!

^^ ummm...ok?
just stay quiet and dont get in the way.... most freshman have this problem that they think that there so big now that they got to high school...problem is... it makes them look like their still in middle school and ticks the higher classmen off... so just dont get in the way, and dont shoot ur mouth off at anyone and you'll be fine..

At my school no one really cares. Maybe on the first day they'll tease but after that it's like "Hi! How are you?" But I live in Psychoville so maybe that's why.

Why worry about something that may, or may not happen? Handle problems as they come up. Heart disease is NOT the # 1 killer, it is worrying and anxiety, which brings on the heart attacks.
