I don't think there is a legal "limit"
but they have to consider various factors as the person who has the first answer mentioned..

MT - you're wrong about the age limits for donors. There have been several 93 year old donors in the last few years, both in the US and abroad. The tissue donor age limit varies depending on the tissue being donated, the gender of the donor, and then changes periodically as the medical community finds new ways to utilize previously unusuable tissues.

I know donors can be a max of 85 years for organs and 75 for tissue. As for recipients newborns can receive organs. Your overall health is the final factor along with matching. My uncle was waiting on lungs and had a very mild non damaging heart attack and was removed from the list. There are webs sites you can goggle.

it all depends on your health and all. also if your like 65 and a person is 17 they might have a better chqance of getting the organ
