By exercising it. Sudoku, Games Magazine logic puzzles, acrostic puzzles for a start, then mystery novels, science, math, logic questions on Yahoo! Answers. Riddles sometimes require logic, if only to figure out why the answer is why it is the answer. Watch SciFi Channel and figure out the science mistakes in everything they do (if you can stand the bad acting), or any major SF movie, for that matter. You can forgive some things, like sound in space, as necessary to avoid a silent sound track, but not Newton's laws and orbital mechanics.
Watch the news, especially Fox, and figure out how they are spinning the news.
