For the eighth straight year, an American has won the Tour de France. Floyd Landis finished his unlikely win Sunday. Was this just a spin off of following Lance Armstrong for seven years? Can Landis do it again in 2007? Is there another American that is able to do it?

Only if Floyd can recover from the hip surgery in time. Base on this years performace I don't see Levi L. of George H. pulling it off any time soon.

If Floyd Landis is back in 2007, a strong chance that he willl win.

Hincapie, Landis and Leipheimer would all be contenders. If Basso and Ullrich will partake next year though, the answer is a very definite no.

Tyler Hamilton has the best chance of winning the 07 tour. We'll just have to see how his two year absence has affected him

levi leipheimer, david zabriskie, george hincapie, floyd landis (if his hip is fixed), yeah it's possible for sure
