1. the customers that think our names are hey or yo
2. those that bang their bottle or glass on the bar. just a hint, we know you are there and if you continue, you will become the thirstiest person in the bar.
3. when someone reaches over the bar and touches me
4. i don't care if you are a bartender also. every place is different.
5. people that order a drink such as "ketel one and vodka" and then look at us like we are the stupid ones, because we aren't moving to go make it
6. $1.00 is not taking care of us. it proves that you are cheap
7. if you have to pay with change, don't come back, i probably won't serve you again. i have no time to count dimes and nickels
8. don't try to get my phone number. not going to happen
9. no tip, you don't get another drink
10. there is alcohol in the drink i made you. if you cannot taste it, you drank too much. nine times out of ten, i can't put more in it without charging you. we get fired for that.
11. don't ask me every beer in stock. if we don't have what you order, i will let you know
12. do not assume that because you did tip me big, you will get a free drink. not every bar is the same
13. don't make up a drink. you may think we don't know it, which we don't, but if we figure it out, you will be paying for something that your dog won't drink.
14. if you are nice, respectful, and fun. we will make sure that you always get your drinks, that they taste good, and that you will have a great time at our establishment. that is our job.

I have been a bartender for a very long time. Mostly I love my patrons because they are my bread and butter. But what gets on my nerves is when one or more of them talk down to me as though I didn't really matter in this world. I know the difference though. I am also going to college and start my undergraduate work next year.

I hate when they drink too much loose all their money on the pokies and then come back to me and conplain about it. the worst that tops it off is when they then blame me for what they did and want to start a fight.

leave a $1 tip no matter how much the bill. Try 20% or more you cheap *** people. THANK YOU!!!

Steal my tips.......money that was left behind by another patron.....they just move on in and claim it as their own.
