Each book that Paul wrote was to a different church already formed, their names make up most of the last part of the New Testament. There is just not enough room for me to tell you how each church was formed.

If you meant what happen to Jesus, well, He ascended, but no one really knows the time period between His rising from the dead to His ascension. Some books say years, some simply don't mention it.

But the early Christians were persecuted by the Roman soldiers, and the religion itself was illegal, if that was what you were thinking about in your question.
