Air Lanka, or now known as Sri Lankan Airlines is co-owned by Emirates Airlines - and Emirates have won best airline for two years running now, so the service is pretty great.
I fly with Sri Lankan Airlines at least twice a year and have no major complaints. Economy is as good as any other good airline. Food wise, nice selection and in flight entertainment similar to Emirates - very good !

yes they have,but no-one has lived to tell the tale.The best flight they ever had crashed only four miles from the runway.So they're definitely getting better.Take a parachute and when you hear the pilot screaming, jump.

Yes - they were OK. Went to Maldives with them - they were far better than Monarch, by all accounts. Great food - if you like food from the sub-continent!
