Try meditation. Many people are born with a heightened awareness for the world around them. People could spout off websites by the dozens. You need to figure out what exactly it is that you're doing this for. Is it because you want to improve yourself? Or is there an alterior motive?
Meditation opens your mind and lets thoughts travel freely without complications. Listen to the inner voice that you hear. Try contacting your spirit guide for guidance as well. Ask him/her to help you.

Basically, you either have it or you don't. If you do, you can develop it by believing in it, practicing it with a few close relatives, and opening your mind to it. Meditation helps. I know of no websites that are worth their weight, but I've never really pursued it, so I don't know. I just know I have it with close relatives and a handful of other people who are open to it.

the people who have this usually do it without trying, it is very natural. but the more spiritual you are the more you will be open. The more open you are the more likely a spirit will be willing to contact you. I don't know what your believes are now, but do not limit yourself to the beliefs of one church and just believe the way you feel ris right (truley right) in your heart. good luck

I think you can develope it by exercising your mind. You need to understand your mind and find out what parts store what kind of information. Sylvia Brown has several books out maybe, you could learn something from her.
