Well i duuno but i find my drawers or my socks wld invariably hve a hole in it after som use, does everyone face the same or its perticular to me and few others...? Does the gals also face similar problems....?

Well the main reason for that is wear and tear..every person's body is different, so some people who wear socks get holes in their heel, where as some other people get it in the toe section/sole of the foot of the sock...what ever the case is, underwear or sock, the main reason it tears and gets a hole is because that particular part of the sock or underwear experiences more friction and friction leads to the thinning of the original material/cloth of the garment and then eventually leads to a hole or tear.
Also, another thing could be is if you use bleach you are using way too much and that will eat away at the fabric the sock or underwear is made out of...the same things applies to laundry detergent.
In order to prevent this, buy underwear and socks made out of thicker material that is comfortable, and make sure to not wear the same pair in the same week...this will help them last a little longer.

Socks develop holes from the foul odours of the foot, and not cutting your toenails.
Underwear holes develop with excessive gas from the rear, it burns holes in them.

If you are using too harsh a laundry detergent, and too much bleach, that can weaken the fabric and lead to more holes and fraying.

people tend to use bleach on socks,and also use high heat in dryers. the bleach weakens fibers, and the high heat breaks down the elastic in the cloth.

umm sure, most ppl get holes in there socks after awhile of wearing them, maybe just change them more

that doesn't happen to me much, especially not the underwear.
