I used Yahoo Personals to find someone for me. It worked too, we're getting married soon.
The good thing about internet dating sites is that it takes a fair bit of courage to go onto one and put yourself out there, particularly if you're posting a pic for the whole world to see and know that you're on there. Therefore you tend to only get people who are really serious about finding the right relationship.
My suggestion would be to give it a try - you never know. Go on to the site, have a look and find some profiles you like the look of - think about what attracted you to them and keep that in mind while you write your own. Get in touch with people - the worst that can happen is that they won't reply!
Can I just ask you first though - I'm interested in the phrasing of your questions - are you happy being with you? Because personally I really do believe that you can only meet someone that is right for you when you are happy being you and like yourself. How can you expect other people to like you and want to be with you if you don't?! (Psychobabble nonsense I know, forgive me as I'd just got over depression and become happy with myself again when I met my fiancé!)

look around and date a few people then u will finally find someone that wants to be with u trust me but it takes paticence if u have it

go out clubbing,you might find someone, or dateing sites. you could also try www.faceparty.com , i meet my boyfriend there. you could find someone in your area there. good luck
